Why so many people begging for the Cubs to demolish Wrigley Field and build a new stadium?

It would be such a mistake to even think about replacing Wrigley. Wrigley and Wrigleyville are what has made the franchise hugely successful. People tolerate the losing because of the tradition and beauty that is the Friendly Confines. Move them somewhere else and they just become another team.
